Getting to Syros

By sea

The ferries operate from Athens (Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio) to Syros. The Piraeus port is about 1,5 h away from Athens International Airport. You can get to the harbour by bus (X96), or by metro or by taxi. The Rafina port is max. 1 hour away from Athens International Airport. You can get there directly by bus (KTEL) or by taxi.

By air

There are flights from and to Athens International Airport. The flight takes 35 minutes. Alternativery Mykonos Island (Mykonos has international airport) is only 25 minutes away by high speed vessels or 1 and 1/4 of an hour by ferry.
